If you’re someone who desires full responsibility for your physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being, and someone like myself, who desires to live a long life with optimum health, then the ancient Chinese traditions of healing and disease prevention will give you that knowledge and skillset. This ancient knowledge is, today, generally referred to as TCM or Traditional Chinese Medicine. But what is quite different from TCM today from it’s genesis nearly 5,000 years ago, is that the ancient alchemical healing arts of Taoism was a great part of that original knowledge. Today the these healing Tao practices are well known and taught throughout the world but quite often separated from Traditional Chinese Medicine which today is more focused on Herbology, 5 Element Nutrition, and Acupuncture.
What Professor Drew and I have done by creating the Traditional Chinese Healing Arts Academy is to bring together these two powerful fields of knowledge – ancient Chinese teachings of herbology and balanced nutrition, combined with the Taoist teachings that incorporate the physical, sexual, and spiritual, aspects of self-healing and personal development.
The keen insights of ancient Taoists monks actually began with, observing the earthly processes of nature and the heavenly cosmic forces of our solar system. They began to see the connection of these great forces within our human body. They recognized that b understanding these powerful, external, forces, they were able to better understand our body’s internal ability and intelligence to heal and rejuvenate itself.
It was by harmonizing and bringing into resonance this dynamic relationship between the outside world of nature and the universe, and the inside world of our bodies, that the ancient Taoist recognized the natural “flow of life’ as the as a force for natural healing.
If you go to our website at TraditionalChineseHealingArts.com, you will see the many areas of knowledge known as the eight pillars of Taoism. They include sex wisdom, mastery, healing arts, philosophy, revitalization, forgotten foods, balanced diet, and success. Our goal is to provide you with an easy to understand yet thorough program that can readily be applied not only to yourself, but to others should you decide to explore a natural health coaching profession where you can help others.
